I won’t let you take me twice,

To the dark place I once called home.

I won’t let you make me dance,

To the tunes of haphazard breathing

during sleepless nights.

I won’t let let you have me!

I don’t know if you know this,

But things have changed;

I found a pot of gold,

At the end of the rainbow ,

After it rained

So,The next time you “jokingly” call me fat,

you wont find me counting,

The inches around my waist.

And the next time ,

when you undermine me

I won’t take long to show you what I can be .

Cause I have finally taught myself :

To not let your lack of love

Be a measure of my self worth.
